PLANETS OF THE SULT GALAXY

Maru is a desert planet with unbearable heat and lush oases with self-watering ground. Maru hasn’t had a ruler for more than 300 years, which would make one think it was ripe for the taking. However, as the galaxy’s most prominent trading town, too many peoples inhabit the land at once.

A single claim of ownership could cause societal collapse, which for all parties involved is not profitable. Besides, only Maruvians and the occasional Raan can stand the dry arid heat of Maru. Maruvians have taken to wearing very little covering to maintain their body heat, and with a philosophy of free self-expression, the perception of Maruvians are less than favorable to more prudish planets.
Gashia is a water planet covered in 85% water, mostly of  fertile swamp lands and fresh water  bodies. Constantly raining, this dark blue planet would drive most people to depression, but not Gashians. With the closest position to the Lunar Channel, it is a highly spiritual place where the greatest magic users are made.

No one really know what goes on. They have a ruling system, but no clear ruler. Whatever rules they have are self-enforced. You never hear of crime, you never head of prosperity, you never hear of anything. Most of the people live in homes suspended above the water, and must move quickly to avoid the torrential rains. Visitors are welcome in the same way that you may enter a home that's door is unlocked, and still not be an invited guest. Gashians are a private people, and the sight of them always causes talk.
Rica is a temperate planet with seasonal weather both hot and cold occurring in regulatory cycles as opposed to consistently.  It is 60% covered in water, and 30% in foliage, and 10% biochemical.

Rica was a democratic planet where the universe's best philosophical scholars resided. Chaos ensued with the death of the Leader of Logos, whom had yet to pass down an heir to continue his philosophy. With everyone grappling to find the way, a leader stepped forward. The Leader.

Now Rica is openly run by a dictatorship, and due to its vast global resources requires no trade, and is isolated from the rest of the galaxy. The Rebels there continue to fight, and operate in secret. The planet is in unrest, and stands in an uneasy standstill with the galaxy.

Holt is a temperate sunny place where the sun shines nonstop for 75% of the year. For the remaining 25%, Holt is plunged into nonstop darkness. The darkness is accompanied with biting winds and precipitation.

Despite the guarantee of darkness, criminals are rare. Holt has a virtually nonexistent crime rate. This is due to their government’s strict use of the Paladin Program.

The Paladin Program requires all Holtish citizens to complete basic combat training.  From this training, the best are recommended to join the Paladin Blade, which can only be joined voluntarily. The Paladin Blade are the most elite military taskforce in the galaxy.  With law and order predicated on an unshakeable belief in justice, and the severest penalties for corrupt officials ever seen, Holt citizens enjoy a discipline filled peace. It isn’t for everyone, but for the Holtish, it is home.
Raa is a planet where the core that maintains the planet's temperature consistently pools to the surface. Despite this, somehow there are animals that thrive in this climate and have evolved to reproduce daily, and mature within days.  Plants that survive can withstand volcanic heats, and as a result are eaten raw or used in protective clothing.

Raa is separated by three major principalities, all which fight for trading rights, food supply, and the best inhabitable land.  Many Raan are employed as mercenaries due to their unimaginably high survival instincts, and have been known to bring back different types of terraforming equipment.
As a result, Raa will occasionally have a unique plant or animal not of it's origin, though they often do not survive long.

Raan citizens follow a series of moral codes, oral traditions, and physical trials in order to graduate to adulthood. Only the strongest survive.
